A surveillance photo showing a potential subject in the mysterious disappearance of Nancy Guthrie could be released as early as Tuesday afternoon, according to senior law enforcement officials.
NBC News first reported the development in the case that’s seen little apparent progress for 10 days.

Guthrie, 84, was apparently abducted from her Tucson, Arizona, home in the early morning hours of Feb. 1.
No suspects have been identified in her disappearance, the Pima County Sheriff said as recently as Monday night.
Investigators on Friday obtained footage from a Circle K about seven miles from Guthrie’s house.
