San Diego County sheriff deputies responded to the scene, along with several local fire departments, the Federal Aviation Administration, and the National Transportation Safety Board, according to reports.
Video from the incident posted Saturday afternoon on social media shows the plane came to rest on the state highway’s right shoulder, with one wing partially blocking the slow lane.
Officials did not immediately respond to requests for comment on what caused the emergency landing.
