Realtor mom denies taking a dime from mogul to dump husband, claims her ‘terrible marriage’ was over before divorce filing

The realtor mom allegedly offered millions by a real estate mogul to dump her husband has claimed she “never took a dime” — insisting her “terrible” sexless marriage was over long before she filed for divorce.

Paige Steckling hit back after her jilted ex-husband filed a lawsuit against Tamir Poleg, the chief executive of Utah-based Real Brokerage, alleging the tycoon destroyed the couple’s marriage with offers of an “indecent proposal.”

“I wanted to do this cleanly and I didn’t want to be owned by anybody,” the mom-of-two told the Daily Mail — as she denied accepting the $3 million from Poleg to leave her hubby.

“The claims being made publicly do not reflect my lived experience or the reality of my marriage.”

Her ex-husband, Michael Steckling, alleged in the lawsuit that he and Paige had never considered splitting up until Poleg came into the picture and started chasing her.

But Paige, an independent real estate contractor who works with Poleg’s firm, claimed her marriage turned sour soon after they tied the knot in 2013.

“The marriage was terrible,” she said. “There was a time where we didn’t have sex for a year — like, it was terrible.”

Paige insisted, too, that she even spoke to her then-spouse about the millions Poleg had offered her — alleging she needed “financial support” because the father of her kids was stingy. “Michael and I had talked about Tamir giving me financial support, but I ultimately told him I didn’t want it or need it, so I told him I would not take anything,” she said.

“It was like the last-ditch effort in our marriage. Michael comes from a ton of money and told me if I ever tried to leave him, he would destroy me in court. So I requested financial support as a backup. I never ended up needing it. I never took a dime.”

Paige filed for divorce in February last year — just days after Poleg emailed Paige instructions on how to access two promised installments of $1.5 million, the lawsuit alleges.

“My marriage ended because it was deeply unhealthy and untenable,” Paige told the outlet.

“I made the decision to leave for my own well-being and the well-being of my children after years of enduring a dynamic that included emotional harm and behavior that crossed boundaries. It was not a sudden decision, and it was not the result of an affair.”

Poleg has copped to offering his subordinate the cash but insisted it was just financial support after she opened up to him about her marriage woes.

“[There were] no offers, no romance, no interference,” Poleg said.
