There’s no love lost between Dana White and Oscar De La Hoya.
While sitting ringside at an event for his new Zuffa Boxing promotion on Sunday, White claimed that De La Hoya is $23 million in debt and might need to get creative to pay it off.
“Oscar’s on a sinking ship and will not shut the f–k up,” White told content creator Nina Drama while ringside. “He’s going to have to throw the panties and stockings back on and get OnlyFans to start paying his rent. My boy’s running out of money. That ship is sinking very fast.”

White is referring to the former six-division boxing champion De La Hoya, who now runs the competing boxing brand Golden Boy Promotions, after a $27 million commercial real estate loan in downtown Los Angeles went into default.
De La Hoya owes $23 million on that loan, according to a notice of default obtained by The Real Deal.
De La Hoya is hoping for a loan modification to avoid losing the asset, which is located at 626 Wilshire Boulevard.
As White also mentions, De La Hoya was pictured wearing fishnet stockings and underwear in 2007, which he admitted to being real in 2011.
The UFC boss and legendary boxer have long been rivals and are now competing against each other in the boxing space, starting this year with the inaugural Zuffa Boxing cards, led by White.
The two alpha personalities have battled for attention in the combat sports space, trading barbs for over a decade.
De La Hoya was skeptical of the UFC in its earlier days, calling it an inferior sideshow, while White criticized boxing’s waning fan base due to poor management of the sport by promoters and poor business dealings with fighters and fans.
Nothing has been off limits between these two, with De La Hoya also poking at White for publicly hitting his wife on New Year’s Eve 2022.

Meanwhile, De La Hoya is also being sued by one of his fighters, Vergil Ortiz Jr.
Ortiz decided to split from Golden Boy Promotions after negotiations went haywire between Golden Boy and Ortiz’s manager, Rick Mirigian.
“As our lawyers have made clear, you don’t negotiate for Vergil’s fights; I do. @promoter559 (Rick Mirigian, Vergil Ortiz Jr.’s manager),” De La Hoya wrote on social media.
Ortiz has now filed a lawsuit alleging breach of contract by Golden Boy, claiming the company hurt his earning potential by mishandling his opportunity to fight Jaron “Boots” Ennis.
Golden Boy also has a broadcast deal with DAZN, which is expected to expire in the near future, further complicating financial matters.
