Haley Kalil’s lawyer recently told TMZ Sports the model believes a judge will grant her motion to dismiss the lawsuit filed against her by her ex-husband, former NFL player Matt Kalil, for publicly discussing intimate details about their marriage.

Matt, a first-round pick by the Vikings in the 2012 NFL Draft, sued Haley for “invasive commentary” and unjust enrichment earlier this month for discussing his manhood size during an appearance on a Twitch livestream in November 2025.

“We moved to dismiss the complaint because Minnesota has a longstanding commitment to free speech, which is important now more than ever,” Matthew Bialick, Haley’s lawyer, said.

“Allowing a lawsuit to proceed against a woman for sharing a truthful, autobiographical account of sexual trauma would directly undermine those core values. We believe the motion will be granted.”

In court documents obtained by Page Six, Haley — who filed for divorce from Matt in 2022 — says Matt had a “specific anatomical incompatibility that rendered a normal sexual relationship impossible” and that the pair had a “loving union that was ultimately hindered by an unfortunate physical incompatibility.”

“Plaintiff’s complaint seeks to hold a woman in the public eye civilly liable for providing a truthful, autobiographical account of sexual trauma she suffered and described as having led to the end of a highly publicized celebrity marriage with an NFL football star,” the court papers state.

Matt’s lawyer said his client believes Haley’s motion will be “completely denied” in court.

“Haley Kalil’s motion to dismiss does not dispute the fact that she wantonly disclosed private and intimate details about Matt Kalil that resulted in widespread ridicule and unwanted attention,” Ryan Saba of Rosen Saba LLP told TMZ Sports, adding that a “spouse does not have a right to expose private and confidential marital and sexual details for the purpose of profiting.”

During the November 2025 livestream, the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model said Matt’s penis size was “the biggest factor” in their divorce after nearly seven years of marriage, and also applauded him for being a great guy.

Warning: Graphic Language

Haley, who married the former athlete in Hawaii in 2015, cited “irreconcilable differences” in her divorce filing.

Matt would go on to live a private life, and he married model Keilani Asmus in April 2024.

In his filing, Matt said he received “unwanted attention and invasive commentary from the public” and that family members, including his wife, “have been forced to endure the ongoing public circulation of these degrading and deeply personal statements.”

Matt is also suing for invasion of privacy, as the lawsuit states Haley disclosed “highly intimate and private facts regarding Plaintiff’s physical person and sexual life.”

He’s suing for damages, with the amount exceeding $75,000, and he’s requesting a jury trial.

Matt spent the first five seasons of his career with the Vikings after Minnesota selected him fourth overall in 2012, and he made the Pro Bowl in his rookie season.

Following short stints with the Panthers (2017-18) and Texans (2019), Matt retired and started a tequila company, Celaya, alongside his brother, Ryan Kalil, a retired All-Pro center who played for the Panthers and the Jets.
