A whirlwind week for Jarrett Stidham and his wife, Kennedy, ended in heartbreak.
Stidham was thrust into the starting quarterback role for the Broncos after Bo Nix suffered a season-ending ankle injury in the divisional round, and while Denver had a chance in Sunday’s AFC Championship game, they dropped a 10-7 crusher to the Patriots at home in the snow.
“We love this team, we love this city,” Kennedy wrote on her Instagram Story after the game. “Thank yall (sic) for the kindest support all week. This city is so special, this team is so special. We wanted this so badly for everyone.”

The Broncos struck first in Sunday’s game, with Stidham connecting with wide receiver Marvin Mims on a 52-yard pass that got the team in the red zone.
The messy weather was a factor in the 60-minute affair, which boasted a fumble by Stidham and missed field goals.
Stidham ended the day by completing 17 of 31 passes for 133 yards, one touchdown and a late interception.
New England will face the winner of Sunday’s NFC Championship between the Rams and Seahawks in Super Bowl 2026. The big game kicks off from Santa Clara, Calif., on Feb. 8.
It’s been a wild week for the Broncos, who lost starting quarterback Nix to an ankle injury in last weekend’s divisional-round win against the Bills. He underwent season-ending ankle surgery and is expected to be out for 12 weeks.
Kennedy has supported Stidham throughout his NFL journey, which began as a fourth-round pick with the Patriots in 2019. He had a brief stint in Las Vegas in 2022 before landing in Denver the following year.

Before Sunday’s game, the mother of three fired off a two-word message on her Instagram Stories.
“Let’s go!!!!!!” she exclaimed.
Kennedy and Stidham have been married since 2019.
