Stefon Diggs clearly was fired up before Sunday’s AFC Championship game.
The Patriots wide receiver was spotted on camera head-butting teammate K’Lavon Chaisson on the sidelines before the start of the championship clash against the Broncos at Empower Field at Mile High in Denver.
The 32-year-old Diggs was not wearing a helmet at the time, but he clanked his forehead into Chaisson’s facemask.
Diggs led the Patriots with 85 receptions for 1,013 yards during the regular season after signing a three-year contract with the team worth $69 million ($26 million guaranteed).
He spent the 2024 season with the Texans, but went down with a torn ACL in October of that year.
Prior to that, Diggs caught passes from Josh Allen in Buffalo for four seasons. He started his career in Minnesota in 2015.

The Broncos and Patriots were tied at 7 apiece at halftime.
New England entered the championship contest as the No. 2 seed in the AFC. They are one win away from clinching their first Super Bowl berth since 2019.

Digg’s postseason run with the Patriots hasn’t been without controversy.
The 11-year veteran is also facing a felony charge of strangulation and a misdemeanor charge of assault from an alleged incident with a woman on Dec. 2, but his scheduled arraignment for Friday was postponed until Feb. 13.
Super Bowl 2026 is slated for Feb. 8 in Santa Clara, Calif.
The Rams and Seahawks will square off in the NFC Championship in Seattle later Sunday afternoon.
