Prince William stepped out for a solo engagement on December 10 as the Colonel-in-Chief of the 1st Battalion Mercian Regiment.
The Prince of Wales visited the regiment for a Christmas event also attended by the soldiers’ families.
Upon his arrival at Picton Barracks, the Prince of Wales was greeted by a few members of the regiment – as well as Derby, the regimental ram.
