Stunning new way to watch TV launches in the UK, just don’t look at the price

If your TV feels like it needs a massive boost then Hisense might have the answer. The Chinese technology giant has just announced the launch of a huge upgrade that should offer UK homes the ultimate cinema-style viewing experience. The new gogglebox, called the Hisense UXN TV, features a whopping 110-inch MiniLED X display which the company boasts “sets a new benchmark for immersive, cutting-edge technology.”

Despite its massive size, the screen can to produce pin-sharp and very bright visuals with the panel able to push things to an eye-popping 10,000 nits.

To help boost things further, Hisense says it has also teamed Quantum Dot Colour with 3D Colour Master PRO technology to provide 25 percent richer colours. This should make it a great screen for watching both movies and sporting action.

40,000 local dimming zones help improve things further by minimising backlight bleed and content should look pixel-packed no matter what angle you view the display. It also gets features such as Dolby Vision and IMAX advanced along with being fully smart. That means it’s easy to access apps such as Disney+ and Netflix without needing a separate streaming box.

It’s a massive update from Hisense and is the first time the firm has launched something so big in the UK, but how much does it cost?

To own the 110” Hisense UXN TV you’re going to need a big balance. Its RRP is a whopping £19,999. Ouch!

Speaking about the update, Arun Bhatoye, Head of Marketing at Hisense UK said, “We’re proud to be at the forefront of the home technology industry and to hold our position as the global leader of 100” plus large screen products.

“We understand that our customers are looking for more than just a TV, they want a fully immersive experience and our flagship 110” UXN more than delivers this.

“We expect the large screen market to continue to grow in 2025 as consumers strive for bigger and better products and continue to upgrade their home tech for that ‘cinema at home’ and big match experience.”

There could be a big few weeks ahead for TVs. The CES technology show will kick off at the start of 2025 in Las Vegas and we expect all of the main manufacturers such as Samsung, LG and Panasonic to unveil shiny new screens.

CES is almost always used by telly firms to give us a glimpse at what’s to come and 2025 could be another major year for screens getting bigger, brighter and smarter.

CES starts from January 7th and Express.co.uk will be bringing you all the news live so watch this space.
