Dallas Cowboys have announced the death of Marshawn Kneeland, who has passed away at the age of 24. The defensive end was in the middle of his second season with the NFL team and scored his first career touchdown on Monday evening.
“It is with extreme sadness that the Dallas Cowboys share that Marshawn Kneeland tragically passed away this morning,” read the heartbreaking statement on the team’s website.
“Marshawn was a beloved team-mate and member of our organisation. Our thoughts and prayers regarding Marshawn are with his girlfriend Catalina and his family.”
