Marella Cruises, a division of TUI UK, has announced the return of its highly anticipated ‘Electric Sunsets 80s vs 90s’ themed cruise, set to embark in April 2027.
Now in its sixth year, the adults-only voyage is a celebration of two iconic decades in music and pop culture, offering guests an immersive experience filled with nostalgia, entertainment, and star-studded performances. The headline acts for the 2027 journey will be revealed early next year, with organisers promising a line-up of top artists from both eras.
While this year’s acts will differ, last year’s lineup boasted performances from Irish pop group B*Witched, UK R&B pop group The Honeyz, and renowned DJ SASH! , and Ibiza in Symphony – a 10-piece orchestra.
The three-night sailing aboard Marella Discovery will depart from Palma on Wednesday, 28 April 2027, making stops at Valencia and Ibiza before returning to Palma on Saturday, 1 May 2027.
Guests can look forward to themed parties, live performances, and a host of 80s vs 90s-inspired events throughout the ship.

Those wishing to prolong their break can opt for cruise-and-stay packages, which include accommodation at Majorcan hotels such as Alua Soul Mallorca Resort, Astoria Playa Hotel, and Hotel Son Matias Beach, though availability is limited.
Like all Marella Cruises voyages, the package is all-inclusive, encompassing flights, transfers, gratuities, and service charges. Electric Sunsets 80s vs 90s starts from £799 per person and bookings open on Thursday, 30 October 2025.
