Traffic monitoring site Inrix said shortly after 3pm: “Severe delays and two lanes closed and the entry slip road is partially blocked due to recovery work and accident on M25 anticlockwise after J7 M23.”
“Congestion to J9 (Leatherhead), and back onto the M23 northbound. Lanes one and two (of four) are closed, with the entry slip restricted.”
