Meghan Markle attended a star-studded dinner this week with other businesswomen to celebrate women “owning their power”. The Duchess of Sussex, 44, was one of the famous faces to attend “A Seat At The Table” dinner in Los Angeles on Wednesday.
The dinner was hosted by entrepreneur Emma Grede, who interviewed Meghan on her podcast just months ago. The event was held at Kelly Wearstler’s home, with Meghan supplying her own As Ever wine for people to enjoy.
The Duchess was seen smiling with Emma in a new photograph, with another video showing her clinking her wine glass with some of the other attendees at the table.
She wore a two-piece tan suit for the occasion and her signature slicked-back hairstyle.
While Meghan has not shared footage of the dinner on her own Instagram, Emma Grede shared a number of photographs online.
She wrote: “A Seat At The Table, Los Angeles. In a city built on big dreams and even bigger ambition, one truth remains, success is never built alone.
“For too long, we’ve watched how men in business have mastered this: making deals over dinner, sharing opportunities over a game, and opening doors for one another in rooms we can’t always see.”
She continued: “This dinner series is about making that energy ours. About women coming together to share openly, trade resources, and help each other get shit done.
“Because when women choose to collaborate, to champion each other, and to speak honestly about the highs and the hard parts, we don’t just change our own stories. We change what’s possible for every woman who follows.
“Here’s to more seats, more voices, and more women leading, building, and owning their power.”
Other women to attend the event included businesswomen Rachel Zoe and Tina Chen Craig.
