Donald Trump’s son Eric clashed with news presenter Chris Cuomo in an awkward TV encounter. During an interview on NewsNation, Eric promoted his new book, “Under Siege: My Family’s Fight to Save Our Nation,” and highlighted that his father has endured “slanderous lies” throughout his political career. Later, Cuomo claimed that President Trump targeted his political opponents from the moment he took office. A passionate Eric Trump didn’t hold back on his views and replied with: “Did we, did we try and bankrupt Biden? Did we raid Biden’s home? Did we try and bankrupt Biden?”
He then added: “Did we strip Biden off the ballot of multiple states? Did we take Biden off of Twitter and Instagram, and Facebook and try and silence his voice so he couldn’t communicate?”
He then rounded off with: “Did we make up a dirty dossier? About Biden, did they try and destroy Biden’s marriage? Did we make up stories that Biden had secret servers in the basement of his home communicating with the Kremlin in Russia?”
Did we put Biden in a courtroom every single day for nonsense to try and keep him off of a campaign trail to try and destroy his life?”
Many fans on social media couldn’t help but react to the frosty exchange. One person said on X: “They both make good points. Whats happening now in political prosecutions, and 2 wrongs don’t make a right, seems mild compared to what was happening previously.”
Another said: “@EricTrump What an absolute Champion, that is the sort of response we have been waiting to hear someone come back with since 2016.”
A third person argued: “There is a stark difference between what Biden’s admin has done to Trump and to the American people compared to what Trumps Admin is doing.”
A fourth also reacted: “imagine if every political family just started airing out everyone’s dirty laundry like we were in a reality show, who would win the chaos?”
