Argos has reduced the price of the newest PS5 slim consoles by up to £100 for the digital and disc versions. We highly recommend investing in the disc version, which currently costs £424.99—down from the usual £479.99.
That’s because gamers will have the flexibility of buying physical games without needing to buy a disc drive – an additional option that can cost an extra £100.
Argos is also selling the digital console for a much cheaper £329.99 – a huge £100 off the console. The good news is that the digital console does allow gamers to add an additional disc drive in the future if they don’t want to swallow the cost of the disc-based console.
Argos also offers 24 months of PlayStation Premium included with the disc-based slim console for £619.99 – a saving of £60. PS5 consoles are known for their high price tag, and spotting a discount can be rare.
For other gamers, it’s also proving a popular time for rival deals. Nintendo fans can get the Switch 2 with the newest Pokémon Legends: Z-A for £429.99 on Very. There’s also Amazon, which is selling the Nintendo Switch 2 on its own for only £395.99.
