A family has been searching through the night to find a missing teenage girl. Holly Rees, 14, was last seen leaving Camborne Science and International Academy in Camborne, Cornwall, at about 10.40am on Wednesday (October 1). She has not been heard from since.

Her mum, Carla, said Holly’s mobile phone was found in the toilets at Camborne train station. She said: “We think she has dumped it there on purpose.”

Holly was last seen wearing school uniform and carrying a brown handbag. She has links to Camborne, Redruth and St Austell, according to Cornwall Live.

Devon and Cornwall Police confirmed the force received a report Holly was missing. In a post on social media, Carla said: “We have been out all night looking for her.”

She wrote: “If anyone sees Holly please let me know. Last seen leaving Camborne school at 10:40am.”

Carla added: “She left this morning (Wednesday) wearing school uniform and a brown handbag over her shoulder. Unsure if she is still wearing this or has got changed.”

Desperate mum, Carla, added: “She has no money no phone and is considered vulnerable.”
