Silent Hill f may officially launch on September 25, but some fans will be able to play the survival horror game 48-hours early.

Indeed, if you purchased the Digital Deluxe Edition on PS5 or Xbox Series X|S, then Silent Hill f has a September 23 release date and a midnight BST UK launch time. Elsewhere, Silent Hill f Digital Deluxe Edition will be available from 5am BST on September 23 on Steam and Epic Games Store.

In addition to early access, the Digital Deluxe Edition comes with a selection of bonus upgrades, including a Pink Rabbit costume, soundtrack and digital artbook.

Pre-ordering the game ahead of the full launch also adds the White Sailor School Uniform, plus a selection of in-game items.

Of course, the Digital Deluxe Edition costs £79.99, compared to £69.99 for the standard edition.

PS5 customers can actually save money on the Deluxe Edition by purchasing discounted PlayStation Store credit from Loaded (formerly CD Keys).

At the time of writing, the UK retailer is selling £70 of PlayStation Store Credit for just £63.99 and £10 of PlayStation Store Credit for £9.89.

After purchasing a top-up card from Loaded, the retailer will send you a link with the code that can redeemed on the PlayStation Store.

Once you’ve added the credit to your PlayStation account, you can pick up the £79.99 Deluxe Edition having only spent £73.88.

Silent Hill f features the same psychological horror as the classic games in the series, albeit in a new setting.

“In 1960s Japan, Shimizu Hinako’s secluded town of Ebisugaoka is consumed by a sudden fog, transforming her home into a haunting nightmare,” reads the official description.

“As the town falls silent and the fog thickens, Hinako must navigate the twisted paths of Ebisugaoka, solving complex puzzles and confronting grotesque monsters to survive.”

The game has been well received by critics, earning an impressive 85% score on Metacritic.
