A charity which has Sarah, Duchess of York as their Patron has said it would be “inappropriate” for her to continue in her role after it emerged that she had apologised to Jeffrey Epstein after publicly distancing herself from him.
The Duchess allegedly emailed the millionaire paedophile just weeks after she pledged never to contact him again in an interview. In the March 2011 interview, she apologised for having accepted £15,000 from Epstein, a long-time associate of her ex-husband Prince Andrew.
A spokesman for the Duchess refused to provide further comment.
