Schools in a UK town were placed in lockdown on Monday, it has been reported. A heightened police presence, including armed police officers, was noticed by locals in Holyhead on September 15.
Parents at a primary school reportedly received a message stating the pupils’ school was put into a “temporary lockdown” by the North Wales Police. It is not yet clear what prompted the response and police presence in the area. NorthWalesLive mentioned unconfirmed reports that a man was seen with an axe.
