Although Harry and his father have remained tight-lipped about the meeting, which is likely to stay the case, the duke did tell The Guardian in a new interview during his trip to Ukraine that his father will be his “focus” over the next months.
Speaking to the news outlet about the coming year, he said “the focus really has to be on my dad”.
When asked whether he would like to spend more time back on home soil – a place he has not lived since quitting his senior royal role in 2020 – and whether he would bring his children Prince Archie, six, and Princess Lilibet, four, one day, Harry seemed hopeful.
He said: “Yes I would. This week has definitely brought that closer.”
It is not known whether Harry saw any other British relatives on his return to the UK, however it is believed there was no reunion with his brother Prince William, 43.
Instead, The Prince of Wales was seen at various royal engagements during Harry’s return to the UK and did not mention his brother, with the pair reportedly having not been on talking terms for some time.
