Carlos Alcaraz might’ve been crowned US Open champion for a second time last week, but it’s his love life that is capturing the attention of tennis fans right now. The Spanish ace has been linked to several different prospective partners, including British tennis ace Emma Raducanu.
However, it was confirmed earlier this week that Alcaraz is in fact dating Brooks Nader, a 28-year-old American model. Brooks’ sister, Grace Ann Nader, confirmed the two were romantically connected following a recent appearance at the US Open.
However, there were initial suggestions that Brooks was instead dating Alcaraz’s biggest rival, Jannik Sinner. During a recent episode of ‘The Jimmy Kimmel Show’, the TV personality was asked: “Are you dating Italian tennis superstar Jannik Sinner?” With Nader replying: “Is this, like, an interrogation? I’m so scared right now! Well, ask Stephen [Colbert] what match we were at. I don’t think he was playing in that one.”
The suggestion from Nader was that she wasn’t there to watch Sinner in action, with the Alcaraz confirmation coming just days later. Grace Ann told E! News: “The rumours are true. Dating is such a loose term. But I do know he’s the man of the hour.”
Man of the hour indeed. Alcaraz’s victory at Flushing Meadows was his second Slam title of 2025 alone, with the 22-year-old making waves both on and off the court. However, Alcaraz has previously hinted that being on tour so often can make dating somewhat of a chore.
Speaking to The Times last year, Alcaraz explained: “I am looking for someone. It can be difficult as a tennis player to meet the right person because you are travelling all the time. When I finish a tournament, it doesn’t matter if I win or not, I just want to get home to be with my family. I live with my mum and dad, my older brother and two younger brothers. To them I am not a big tennis star, just a normal guy. So getting home is great because I miss them. The longer you are away, the more you realise how much you need them.”
Alcaraz is expected to take a short break from the sport following his US Open triumph, with his return likely to come on the Asia swing. It’s suggested Alcaraz will feature at the Japan Open for the first time later this month, but there will be no meeting with Sinner, given the Italian is competing in China at the same time.
