A motorist has been caught making a mess of parking their tiny Smart car in a funny video shared on social media. The clip shows the Smart car driver gently reversing while attempting to parallel park their vehicle into a massive space on the side of a road.
However, the road user quickly realises they have turned in too sharply and quickly decides to start again. The driver quickly adjusts and attempts the same move further down the road before quickly realising they are in the wrong area and aborts. After a few more attempts, the road user attempts one final swing, miscalculating the move and ending up on the field next to the road.
Eventually, the vehicle ends up pointing in the wrong direction with the driver seen thrashing at the steering wheel through the glass windscreen.
The footage appears to have been obtained from a CCTV camera on a house located across the road, with the clip receiving thousands of likes on social media site X.
Many road users have had their say on the incident, with many calling out for the driver for making the wrong move.
The parking space was so large that the driver could have simply pulled up and stopped the vehicle instead of attempting the parallel park manoeuvre.
