Samsung will give you a free Galaxy Watch 7 this month – here’s how to claim

Samsung has just announced the Galaxy S25 FE, a cheaper version of its popular S25 phones. With a 6.7-inch OLED screen, triple rear cameras and large 4,900mAh battery, it could be a better choice for you than the pricier phones Samsung sells.

The Galaxy S25 FE retails for £649, but Samsung has an introductory offer that will bag you a Galaxy Watch 7 worth £239 absolutely free, as well as instantly knock £100 off the asking price of the phone simply by trading in any smartphone in any condition.

Yes, even if you have an ancient phone in a drawer with a smashed screen that doesn’t turn on, that device is your ticket to an automatic £100 discount.

That means you can spend £549 today and get the brand new Galaxy S25 FE and a Galaxy Watch 7. Here’s how.

Head over to Samsung’s website to pick which Galaxy S25 FE you want to get. The cheapest model is £649 and comes with 128GB storage. On the buy page, you’ll be able to select which device you’re trading in and in what condition.

Remember, any phone in any condition is an automatic £100 off, but you might be able to claim more of a discount if you have a working phone that’s on Samsung’s list of devices to trade in. For example, an iPhone 15 Plus would get you up to £330 off, while a Samsung Galaxy S23 Plus up to £304.

You select which device you’ll send off and go through the prompts. This applies the discount, but if you don’t send in the agreed phone, Samsung is able to remotely brick your Galaxy S25 FE – you’ve been warned.

After purchase, your new phone will be shipped to you and you’ll be sent instructions on where and how to send in your old phone.

Then it’s time to claim that new smartwatch. As long as you buy the phone before October 2, you can claim a 40mm Galaxy Watch 7 by heading to this website to upload proof of purchase and provide some more information. You must claim the watch in this way within 30 days of your original purchase.

After all this, do consider if you need to spend at least £549 on a new phone just to get a smartwatch. If your phone is perfectly fine and it’s the Galaxy Watch 7 you’re after, it’s on sale right now from Argos for £189.
