Princess Kate is set to host her annual Christmas carol concert again this year, much to the delight of royal fans. The Princess of Wales, 43, will no doubt soon start preparing for The Together at Christmas service, which she has now hosted four times at Westminster Abbey.
The service, which is held in December, is a mix of traditional carols, music and readings. The Princess hosts the event to bring communities together, often inviting people from all walks of life to attend.
While she is yet to publicly confirm herself that the event will be held this year, the Royal Foundation’s latest accounts suggest it will be going ahead.
The Foundation’s report, which was published in August, read: “Finally, to close 2025, the ‘Together at Christmas’ will once again aim to bring together communities across the UK to celebrate people who have gone out of their way to help others with even more impactful local services.”
No date has yet been set for the event, however it tends to take place within the first few weeks of December. It is then usually broadcast on TV on Christmas Eve.
The Princess is always supported by the Royal Family at the carol service, especially by her husband Prince William and their three children.
Other royals to attend usually include the Duchess of Edinburgh, Princess Beatrice, and Zara Tindall.
Princess Kate’s parents and siblings are also usually seen at the event to support the royal.
Last year, the princess’ carol service was especially poignant as it came just months after she finished her cancer treatment following her diagnosis earlier that year.
The princess reflected on such challenges, telling singer Paloma Faith, who performed at the concert, that she did not expect to have had experienced the “unplanned” year she did.
It is likely the princess may confirm more details about the carol service event in the upcoming weeks.
