Dixie Chicks’ lead vocalist Laura Lynch had died aged 65 after a horrific head-on collision in Texas.
The star was reportedly killed as a car attempted to pass approximately 96 miles east from El Paso, reported TMZ.
Her cousin Mick Lynch revealed the accident took place outside of Texas city, where the singer was driving to Dell City.
Laura’s death was later confirmed by the Texas Department of Public Safety.
When the country band was first founded in 1989 she played bass before jumping on vocals ahead of her departure in 1999.
