Fans are attempting to recreate Meghan Markle’s skillet spaghetti from season one of ‘With Love, Meghan’ ahead of the anticipated release of the new season of the show, set to air next week on August 26. In the first series, Meghan did not give an exact breakdown of the dish, but many creators and fans have attempted to make the spaghetti at home.
Sharing their creation on X, one fan, who displayed the steps of their final creation, said: “It was a day of trying Meghan inspired recipes! Made strawberry preserves & her Single-Skillet Spaghetti. All so yum!”
Another fan attempted to cook most of Meghan’s recipes shown on the first series of the show.
On X, a social media user said: “I’m hooked on the single-skillet spaghetti. Raspberries are on sale this week, so I’m seriously considering making the spread. I tried the focaccia. It was not bad for the first time. Next time, I’ll use more rosemary; I love the flavour.”
In preparation of her new show, the Duchess of Sussex has also shared a video of her cooking a simple spaghetti dish at home on her personal Instagram page, with the caption: “Cooking up more than pasta (with homemade preserved lemons)…..so much goodness is coming soon.”
Meghan, who wore a white shirt and blue jeans, could be seen reaching for a jar of homemade preserved lemons from the windowsill on the uploaded video, before finely dicing the lemons, onion and garlic on a chopping board.
She places all of the ingredients in a skillet pan on the stove in her home, before adding a drizzle of olive oil, and freshly-cooked spaghetti. Meghan then finishes the bowl with olive oil and a helping of Parmesan cheese. She then pours herself a glass of her Napa Valley rosé.
From her caption, it is not known if Meghan’s latest video is hinting at new products coming soon to her online shop or whether it’s a recipe she will be cooking on With Love, Meghan, season two.
Eight new episodes will drop on the streaming platform on 26 August, with guests including US model Chrissy Teigen, as well as makeup artist Daniel Martin who appeared on season one.
The synopsis for season two reads: “Meghan returns with a fun and heartwarming new season, welcoming celebrity chefs, talented artists, and beloved friends for hands-on adventures filled with laughter and discovery.
“From playful cooking challenges to DIY projects, Meghan and her guests explore bold flavors, experiment with new techniques, and discover simple ways to add beauty to everyday life. It’s all about embracing playfulness over perfection and finding joy in creating together.”
It comes amid Meghan and Prince Harry’s renewed contract with Netflix, with the couple signing a ‘first-look’ deal with the streaming giant, announced in a press release by Archewell Productions.
In addition, it was also announced a holiday episode will premiere this December. “Join Meghan in Montecito for a magical holiday celebration,” Archewell Productions wrote in the release.
“Together, friends and family deck the halls, create holiday feasts, craft heartfelt gifts, and share lots of laughs – with simple how-tos to follow at home. It’s a holiday wonder with warmth, tradition, and a generous dose of joy.”
