Unbelievable Samsung deal gets you the Galaxy S25 for £499 – ends toda

If you are in need of a new phone, today is your chance to pick up one of the best Android flagship devices of the year for an unbelievably good price – but the offer ends today, Tuesday August 19.

You can get the Samsung Galaxy S25 for £499, a huge £300 saving on the phone’s £799 RRP. This is possible today by combining two of Samsung’s existing discount offers.

The first offer, which runs until September 9, immediately knocks £200 off the asking price when you trade in any Android phone in any condition. That means even if you have an old broken Android phone in a drawer, it doesn’t matter – send it off to Samsung and the discount will stick.

You just need to be able to provide the phone’s IMEI number when purchasing your new phone, which you can do by typing *#06# on the keypad or find it on the box if the phone doesn’t turn on. You can buy the phone today for £499 but Samsung warns it will remotely block it if you do not send in your Android phone in any condition.

The separate offer that ends on August 19 is an automatic £100 off – combine the two, and you can get the excellent S25 for £499. This is the best price we’ve ever seen the phone sold out brand new. This gets you the 128GB model, but the £300 off offer applies to any Galaxy S25 or S25 Plus, so you can save on whichever version you prefer.

The S25 and S25 Plus are superb phones that I reviewed with a four-star rating on their release in February. They have capable triple cameras, great performance, lovely screens and seven years of software support to take you to 2032. The S25 Plus offers a larger screen and battery, as well as faster charging.

Despite the perks, they are admittedly very similar devices to the S24 series from 2024 and the S23 from 2023. You might not want to upgrade if you have either of those phones, but if you do need a new phone, they are one of the best and safest Android options at an excellent price.

If you’re reading this and August 19 has passed, you can still take advantage of the trade-in offer to get the S25 for £599, which is still an eye-catching saving.

To spend even less on a new Android phone, the Google Pixel 9a is currently on sale from mobile network Giffgaff for a very good £349. Existing customers don’t need to buy a plan, but if you’re new, you’ll have to. Either way, that’s a great price on a phone that usually costs £499.
