Supermarket shoppers have been hit with several product recalls in the past few weeks. The Food Standards Agency (FSA) has sent out alerts warning people not to eat certain items due to label misprints, potential allergens or other dangers.
From salad and nut butter to Dubai chocolate, there are a few popular food items that shoppers should watch out for. If you’ve bought any of the items, you can return them to wherever you purchased them and receive a full refund. Here is the full list of recently recalled food products below.
Co-op
The supermarket has recalled its “4 Mini Pork & Pickle Pies” because they contain milk, which is not mentioned on the label. This means the product is a potential health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk products.
Any 200g packet with a use-by date of August 16 is affected. If you have bought the product and have an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk products, do not eat it. Instead return it to the store from where it was bought for a full refund or replacement.
Farmfoods
Farmfoods is recalling the “Ultimate Keralan Chicken Curry” meal because it contains prawns, which was not mentioned on the label.
Any of these ready meals with the product code L550 and a use-by date of February 13, 2026, should not be eaten if you’ve got an allergy to crustaceans. Instead, return it to the point of purchase for your money back.
Lidl
The budget supermarket has issued a recall for one of its frozen food items. The “Red Hen pack of four Tempura Chicken Steaks” with best before dates of December 11, 16, 22, 30 (in 2026) and January 16, 2027, are affected.
The alert has been sent out because they contain milk which is not emphasised in bold on the label. This makes it a possible health risk to anyone with an allergy.
Daylesford Organic

If you’ve bought this item with a batch code of 230625 and a use-by date of February 2026, do not eat it – instead, return it to wherever you purchased it from.
Dubai chocolate
Anyone who has bought Noesis, Fix it and Le Damas Dubai-style viral chocolate products are being urged to take action to avoid risk to health.
These items contain peanuts and other types of nuts (almonds, cashews and walnuts) which are not all mentioned on the labelling, making it a possible health risk to anyone with an allergy to peanuts or other types of nuts.
Viva cream snacks
Anyone with a milk allergy or intolerance is being urged not to eat any “Mastermedia UK European Viva Cream Snacks” with any use-by date up to November 2026.
