Passengers at Manchester Airport are facing cancellations and delays after two easyJet planes “clipped wings” on the Tarmac. It’s believed one was bound for Gibraltar, flight U22267, and the other was set for Paris, flight U22117. Both flights were due to depart from Terminal One.
EasyJet said in a statement: “EasyJet can confirm that two aircraft came into contact whilst taxiing to the runway at Manchester Airport. An immediate investigation has been launched to understand what happened. The safety and security of our passengers and crew is our highest priority.”
