Sony’s hugely popular range of PS5 30th Anniversary products are being re-released later this year.
PlayStation fans will have another opportunity to purchase the PS5 30th Anniversary Digital Edition console, as well as the Anniversary Edition DualSense controller and the retro-inspired PlayStation Portal device.
Available to pre-order from the PlayStation Direct website, the disc-free PS5 Slim 30th Anniversary Edition console costs £469.99. According to Sony, pre-orders will ship on September 29.
Featuring a retro colour scheme inspired by the original PlayStation, the 30th Anniversary Edition DualSense is also available to pre-order for £69.99. You can purchase both devices below.
The 30th Anniversary PlayStation 5 Digital Edition includes a themed console with a 1TB SSD, as well as a limited edition DualSense controller and a Console Cover if you ever decide to purchase a separate disc drive.
It also contains a handful of bonus items, including PlayStation Shape cable ties and a PlayStation paperclip.
The PS5 30th Anniversary DualSense controller features “throwback design elements” and a legacy colour scheme.
The design is said to pay homage to the original PlayStation console, which launched back in 1994.
In addition to the Anniversary Edition PS5 Slim and DualSense controller, Sony is also restocking the PlayStation Portal, which can be pre-ordered for £209.99.
The PlayStation Portal lets users access their PS5 games remotely, and without losing any of the console’s functionality.
It comes with a gorgeous 8-inch LCD screen, which can handle gameplay at 60 frames-per-second in 1080p.
However, what makes the PlayStation Portal superior to similar remote play devices are the controls.
The Portal has the same functionality as the DualSense controller, including advanced haptic feedback, touchpad support (via the actual display), and adaptive triggers.
