A woman who was clinically dead for eight minutes has insisted that death is merely an illusion.
Brianna Lafferty, who fought a rare and severe neurological condition, described how her soul “floated” above her body before moving into a timeless realm.
The 33 year old disclosed that her physical form had already “given up” when she experienced this extraordinary incident.
During this episode, Brianna heard a voice enquiring if she was prepared to move on and found herself surrounded by complete darkness.
It was within this emptiness that she understood that death is not the end but an illusion, as the soul persists beyond our earthly existence, reports the Daily Star.
She declared: “Death is an illusion because our soul never dies.”
Brianna recognised that consciousness survives and that we simply undergo a transformation.
She observed that in the afterlife, thoughts become reality immediately, although time, which doesn’t exist there, is regarded as a blessing.
The news comes as a scumbag boss was left sobbing like a baby after being jailed for threatening to gang rape a Virgin Atlantic air stewardess and blow up a hotel.
She said: “Our consciousness remains alive. And our very being only transforms. My thoughts instantly manifested into the afterlife. I noticed that our thoughts create a reality there – it just takes time – which is a blessing. Leeds Live reports that the revelation she gained allowed her to view life’s challenges, including her condition and other hardships, with understanding and insight. She now feels that every occurrence has meaning. She said: “We’re able to change our negativity into positivity, turning this into reality. I feel empowered and trust life’s events, especially the hard ones.
Looking back, everything is so crystal clear as to why I suffered with illness and other tough struggles. “Brianna now welcomes life with deep gratitude, embracing both victories and setbacks with peaceful acceptance, whilst acknowledging the power of her own thoughts and emotions. She added: “There’s knowledge that everything does really happen for a reason, as I go with the flow and don’t get angry or upset when bad things happen.
“”Also knowing that my thoughts and feelings are that powerful helps me live a gratitude filled life. “Brianna, who suffers from myoclonus dystonia, a rare neurological disorder causing sudden muscle spasms and contractions, had attempted every possible treatment but remained uncertain about her condition’s progression and whether it might prove deadly.Following extreme sleeplessness that left her practically unable to rest for more than four days, Brianna thought her end was approaching. However, after eight minutes of clinical death, her perspective has been entirely transformed. Discussing her experience, she revealed: “I was suddenly separated from my physical body.
I didn’t see or remember my human self. I was completely still, yet I felt fully alive, aware and more myself than ever before.
There was no pain, just a deep sense of peace and clarity. “”I experienced the beginning of everything and learned that our universe is made up of a bunch of numbers.
I met other beings that I’m not sure were human, but they felt familiar. It changed the course of my life – what I feared no longer had power over me and what I used to chase didn’t seem important anymore.
“”I came back with a sense of mission and deep reverence for both life and death. “.
Brianna recalls sensing she had been gone for months when she returned to her body.
After spending four days in hospital, she found it impossible to make sense of her incredible ordeal.
During this period, she faced the challenge of adapting not only physically but emotionally as well.
Now, having overcome her fear of death, she expresses gratitude for her extraordinary experience.
She was forced to relearn basic skills like walking and speaking and continues to live with permanent effects and harm to her pituitary gland.
Given how arduous her recovery has been, she confesses to being terrified of experiencing another near-death episode.
