Meghan Markle has toasted to her new product drop by filming herself opening a new bottle of her vintage 2024 Napa Valley rosé wine. The Duchess of Sussex has been fairly quiet on her social media uploads in recent weeks, but has broken her silence by celebrating her new product release, which launched on August 5.
The video shows Meghan Markle picking up a bottle labelled “Bottle #1” from her table adorned with fresh flowers. She is then seen taking a corkscrew and popping out the cork from the bottle. The camera then zooms onto the cork, which has the brand name ‘As Ever’ etched into it.
The caption reads: “Here we go! First bottle off the line! Toasting to a beautiful day. Our Napa rosé is live @aseverofficial.”
Meghan’s new drop was confirmed just a few minutes before the launch at 8pm BST on the As Ever Instagram account.
A short message, including pictures of the As Ever wine bottles and corks, read: “C’est l’heure. Enjoy your last sips of summer with the newest vintage of our beloved Napa Valley rosé. On sale at 12pm PST at wine.asever.com.”
The newly-launched wine cost the same as the product sold during Meghan’s previous drop – three bottles cost $90, six bottles $159, and 12 bottles $300.
The description on the website reads: “Our 2024 Napa Valley Rosé evokes the same effortlessly elegant notes of our debut vintage: delicately balanced, with soft notes of stone fruit, a gentle minerality, and a lasting finish. Reminiscent of the finest Provençal styles, this thoughtfully crafted blend is perfect for summer’s end.”
Sharing a message with subscribers on August 4, via the As Ever newsletter, a message from the founder read: “Harvested under the California sun, this dazzling vintage embodies everything we love – it’s where timeless elegance meets the spirit of summer. We’ve worked thoughtfully to bring these exceptional bottles to you, and more of your other favorite As ever products are also being restocked shortly. There is so much to celebrate, and we’re honored to share these special moments with you.”
A new black and white photo of The Duchess of Sussex was posted on Meghan’s birthday on August 4, depicting Meghan in a spaghetti strap dress, wearing a cream coloured, wide-brim hat, smiling in a garden.
The caption read: “Celebrating the woman behind it all. She pours her heart, vision & magic touch into every detail, and today, we raise a glass to her! Happy birthday to our founder @meghan.”
Meghan Markle’s lifestyle brand, As Ever, officially launched on April 2, 2025. The initial product drop included items like strawberry jam, raspberry spread, dog treats, and homeware items.
