Samsung will give you a free Galaxy Watch this week and that’s not all

Samsung phones remain incredibly popular for good reason. The world’s best-selling smartphone brand offers Android handsets with sleek designs, great cameras and long software support at a range of different price points to suit all manner of budgets.

If you’re considering an upgrade to a new Samsung phone, now could be the time to do it as the firm is currently running two eye-catching offers that, if combined, could land you a new phone and smartwatch for less.

Samsung is offering £100 off any Galaxy S25 or S25 Plus with no strings attached. That means until August 19, you can buy the excellent regular S25 with 128GB storage for £699, a price that undercuts other retailers.

You can also pick up the larger-screened S25 Plus from £899, with double the storage of 256GB.

Whichever one you go for, the other good news is that Samsung will give you a Galaxy Watch 7 totally free of charge just because you bought one of the S25 phones.

“Free Watch 7 automatically added at basket. Colour and size assigned at random and could differ from imagery. Product might ship separately”, Samsung notes in its terms and conditions. That means you might get the smaller 40mm model or the larger 44mm version, in either cream or green.

It’s a little odd that it’s a bit of a lottery as to which model you’ll receive, but the picture used is of the 40mm green model. Either way, the Galaxy Watch 7 is worth at least £239, so it’s a great free gift and a saving of hundreds of pounds.

The free Watch 7 offer is running until August 12, so if you want to get in on the action you don’t have long.

I reviewed both the S25 and S25 Plus on their release back in February and was impressed with the performance, cameras and software, with Samsung promising seven years of updates to take these handsets into 2032.

The designs are a little plain, but if you’re going to put the phone in a case that might not matter to you anyway. With the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, these phones are among the most powerful you can buy in 2025, with the £699 offer on the S25 also making it one of the most affordable to run the processor.

You could alternatively opt for the Google Pixel 9, which is currently on sale at Amazon for £549 down from £799. The Pixel runs Google’s Tensor G4 processor but has a better main camera than the S25, plus a cleaner version of Android.
