Storm Conall has dumped yet more torrential rain on the UK, with two weeks’ worth falling in some areas in the space of 24 hours.
On Tuesday, the Met Office issued yellow weather warnings for spells of heavy rain, that could trigger severe flooding and travel chaos for millions of people.
Some 90 flood warnings remain in place, while parts of London, Kent, Dorset, Portsmouth, West Sussex and Isle of Wight could see 40mm of rain.
This comes after a weekend of horrendous weather that saw Storm Bert wreak havoc across large parts of the country.
