Eight London tube lines are either “partly suspended” or experiencing “severe” or “minor” delays, causing travel carnage in the capital this morning.
The Elizabeth Line has been hit with its second suspension in two days, with no service between Paddington in west London and Abbey Wood in the east of the city.
Meanwhile the Northern Line, one of the major arteries for south Londoners, is experiencing “severe delays”, as is the Bakerloo Line, the Circle Line, and the Hammersmith and City Line. The Piccadilly Line is also suspended between Rayners Lane and Uxbridge due to “significant leaf fall”.
