Prince Harry will ‘never be forgiven’ by two key royals as feud continues | Royal | News

Prince Harry will not be “forgiven” by two senior members of the Royal Family despite his efforts for reconciliation, a royal commentator has claimed. The Duke of Sussex has been estranged from the Firm since 2020, when he stepped down as a senior working royal and moved to the US with his wife, Meghan Markle, where they have now settled with their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

Harry’s tarnished relationship with his royal relatives has come back into the spotlight after some of his aides were spotted having a meeting with those of the King in London, sparking hope for a possible path to a future reconciliation. The Duke himself declared that he wished to reconcile with this family a few months ago after he lost a High Court appeal challenge regarding his security in the UK.

But a royal expert claimed that despite his efforts, two royals will never forgive the prince for the things he has said.

Harry made a series of claims and accusations about the royals through interviews and his bombshell memoir, Spare, which was released in 2023.

Royal author Robert Jobson said Prince William and Queen Camilla, who both saw Harry mention them in Spare, will have a hard time letting go of what has been said about them.

He told The Sun: “He’s asking for forgiveness. Well, you know, I think that his father probably will in the long term. I think he probably will. I just don’t see William and Camilla doing it.”

Mr Jobson went on to add that even though Harry’s mother, the late Princess Diana, also authorised a biography, Her True Story, by Andrew Morton, she did not profit from it. He said: “She didn’t monetise it for herself. He made a fortune out of it.”

In Spare, Harry mentioned Camilla on more than 60 occasions, branding her “the Other Woman”. He accused the Queen of being “dangerous” and leaking negative stories to the press, allegedly “sacrificing him on her personal PR altar”. He also pondered whether she would become his and William’s “wicked stepmother” before her marriage to Charles.

The Duke also mentioned his brother, the Prince of Wales on various occasions as he wrote about their childhood and their ongoing rift. He even accused the future King of getting physical with him during an altercation.

Neither Camilla nor William has ever commented on Harry’s claims.

In his bombshell interview with the BBC back in May, Harry said that “some members of my family will never forgive me” for writing his memoir. But he added: “It would be nice to have that reconciliation part now. If they don’t want that, that’s entirely up to them.”
