Police have issued an urgent appeal for a 17 year old girl named Angel, who has been missing without a phone for almost a fortnight.
Angel was last confirmed seen in Hatfield on Tuesday 15 July, with additional sightings reported on Wednesday 16 and Friday 18 July. The authorities are increasingly worried about her well-being and have reassured her with the message: “you are not in any trouble, we just want to make sure you’re okay and safe.”
It is believed that Angel is without her mobile phone and does not have access to her bank accounts. Her last known outfit included a large puffer jacket, black McKenzie joggers with white script, and black Fila sneakers.
Frequenting the Parkhouse Court area of Hatfield, Angel may have ventured to Bedfordshire or London, but could now be elsewhere. She also has connections to Luton in Bedfordshire, Harlow in Essex, and Southampton in Hampshire.
Herts Police have released a statement saying: “We are continuing to appeal for the public’s help to find a teenage girl who has been missing for almost two weeks. Angel, aged 17, was last seen by police in Hatfield on Tuesday 15 July, with further sightings on Wednesday 16 and Friday 18 July.”, reports the Mirror.
Described as around 5ft 6ins tall, very slender, with pink hair and blue eyes, there’s a possibility that Angel’s appearance has altered, especially if she hasn’t had access to hair dye. The police acknowledge that she may look different from the photos they have shared.
The search intensifies for missing Angel, last seen donning an oversized puffer jacket, black McKenzie jogging bottoms with white writing, and black Fila trainers. Known to frequent Hatfield’s Parkhouse Court area, she may have ventured to Bedfordshire or London but could now be further afield.
“Angel has links to Luton in Bedfordshire, Harlow in Essex and Southampton in Hampshire.”
Welwyn Hatfield’s Chief Inspector Pete Frost expressed deep concern: “Angel hasn’t been seen in almost two weeks, and we are growing increasingly worried for her welfare. Our understanding is that she has no phone and no access to banking, and we need to make sure she is safe. Our officers are carrying out numerous enquiries to find her, which is our top priority.”
He urged the public to come forward with any information: “If you have seen Angel, or have any information that may help our enquiries, please make you sure you contact the police immediately. I’d also like to make a direct appeal to Angel: You are not in any trouble, we just want to make sure you’re okay and safe.”
