The Red Devils have been forced to sit by and watch targets such as Victor Osimhen, Viktor Gyokeres and Hugo Ekitike close in on moves elsewhere.
Meanwhile, Ruben Amorim’s goal of signing a striker this summer remains up in the air.
That being said, it’s claimed United have whittled their search down to three players: Benjamin Sesko, Nicolas Jackson and Ollie Watkins.
