easyJet: Brits urged to act quickly to bag ‘dirt cheap’ flights | Travel News | Travel

EasyJet has released millions of flights for next summer, with Brits who act fast in with a chance of securing “dirt cheap” tickets. The budget airline launches a raft of new flights every quarter, with travellers who act fast scooping ultra-cheap tickets because of its dynamic demand pricing model. EasyJet’s pricing system sees ticket costs grow in line with demand – meaning those who act fast to book their 2026 getaways are most likely to get the best deals.

While the model has seen flight costs spike just hours after new packages went on sale, customers can still jump on money-saving deals, including flights from London Gatwick to Edinburgh from £39.99 and to Paris from £47.99 per person. The current batch of tickets, which went on sale early on Tuesday morning, covers flights between June 15 and September 13, 2026. The next major release date will be in autumn 2025.

“Customers looking to book early and get great fares for next summer should keep an eye on the easyJet website early on [Tuesday] morning,” a spokesperson for the airline told MoneySavingExpert.com.

Martin Lewis, founder of the consumer help website, urged would-be travellers to act quickly to ensure “dirt cheap” travel next summer.

“The price of your flight [will] depend on the demand at the time,” he said. “Often, if you manage to book the flight the moment it’s launched, then there isn’t any demand and the prices are at rock bottom.”

“[EasyJet] won’t tell us how many seats are available,” the personal finance guru added. “But last year at the same time, it was 10 million UK flights.

“Sometimes we’ve seen different flights [to] different places coming in at different times during the morning.”

Brits enjoyed major discounts by booking flights in advance and immediately after ticket release last year – with chuffed customers sharing that they saved over £1,000 by following the advice.

“Just bagged five return adult flights to Crete [in] August 2025, seats and luggage [at] £1,700,” one person wrote on X last September. “Saving over £1,000 on yesterday’s price searches”.

“Good result,” another said following the same flight sale last autumn. “£1,260 [for a] family of five return flights to Portugal, including a couple of checked bags. 14 hours later, the same booking was priced at around £1,700!”
