The halfway point of the summer transfer window is upon us, and while there has been plenty of business done already, many clubs will feel there is lots more to do before the market closes.
Manchester United are still on the hunt for reinforcements, with Matheus Cunha the only senior signing they have made so far, despite Ruben Amorim’s first-season woes. The Red Devils’ market struggles will have been made that much more frustrating by watching Arsenal clean up, with Martin Zubimendi, Christian Norgaard and Kepa Arrizabalaga set to be joined by Viktor Gyokeres, Noni Madueke and Cristhian Mosquera over the coming days. Liverpool have also laid down a marker to their Premier League rivals, with three big-money signings through the door in plenty of time to get comfortable ahead of the new season.
