Prince William is “no longer angry” with Prince Harry and doesn’t speak about him anymore, a source has claimed. The once-close brothers have been at loggerheads for some time, with Harry having stepped down from royal duties in 2020. William is now said to feel “indifferent” about his younger brother, who is also said to no longer be on speaking terms with King Charles. According to the Sunday Times, the insider said: “What has struck me the most recently is that he just doesn’t mention it at all.”
They added: “It used to be that the family stuff was taking up a lot of space in his head, it was a very close relationship and he was very upset. But he’s not letting it get to him at all any more. It is a change. It’s sad, but it’s a much healthier space for him to be at.”
Harry and William’s ongoing feud was exacerbated following the release of the Duke of Sussex’s bombshell memoir Spare.
Harry claimed that his brother had branded his wife, Meghan Markle, as “difficult”, “rude” and “abrasive”- and even accused him of pushing him during a heated disagreement in 2019.
The pair were last reunited last August at the funeral for Robert Fellowes – their uncle on their late mother Princess Diana’s side of the family.
One attendee, speaking at the time about Harry’s attendance, said, “Most people were astounded that Harry came.”
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex reportedly reached out to William “privately” after finding out about the Princess of Wales’s cancer diagnosis last year.
Sources told the New York Post that the California-based couple had “no idea” about Kate’s illness, and only found out at the same time via the media.
Harry and Meghan later released a statement wishing Kate “health and healing”.
