A popular bargain store is set to shut the doors of several of its branches this month, with a closing-down sale announced in several locations. Many branches of The Original Factory Shop are slated to shut down in June.
Ahead of their closures, closing-down sales have been spotted in some locations, including in Cupar, Scotland, with the location loaded with discounted prices. Photos of the sale were shared on Facebook with the caption: “Up to 11 TOFS stores are already to set to close this month, including sites across Worcestershire, Durham and Cumbria,” reports Birmingham Live.
Another location closing its doors soon is in Chester-le-Street, County Durham, which is set to shut down on June 28.
In a post uploaded to Facebook, the store confirmed it would be leaving the high street, as well as offering shoppers 30% off any goods bought before it shuts its doors for good.
It read: “It’s with great sadness to announce, but the rumours are true! The store will be closing its doors for the last time on 28th June.
“It’s been a pleasure bringing you all the great deals over the last two years, getting to know our regulars.
“We have up to 30% discounts across the store so come grab yourselves some bargains.
“We ask you to be mindful, respectful to the team as you can imagine we are all devastated, but please come say hi.
“Thank you, team Chester serving you till the end.”
