Preparations are now underway for Donald Trump’s State Visit to the UK as a 7ft fence is seen to have been erected around the entirety of Windsor Castle. The visit is now just hours away as the US President and First Lady are due to arrive in the UK tomorrow for a planned two-day visit.
The public will not get a chance to greet the couple on the first day of their UK state visit, Buckingham Palace recently announced. Engagements will be held within the grounds of the private Windsor estate instead.

One of America’s most vocal conservative commentators, 31-year-old Charlie Kirk, was also fatally shot while debating students at Utah Valley University, near Salt Lake City, on September 10.
The Prince and Princess of Wales will be the first royals to meet the couple on Wednesday.
The royal couple will greet them in the grounds of Windsor Castle and formally introduce them to King Charles and Queen Camilla.
The two royal couples and the Presidential couple will attend an open-air greeting and a carriage procession to Windsor Castle.
A source has recently spoken out about the planned visit – with them revealing that the couple are “thrilled” that Princess Kate is taking on a prominent role.
As reported by the Mail, a source has said: “The President and First Lady are thrilled that the Princess of Wales will play such a prominent role in their visit.
“The inclusion of Princess Kate in so many events during the state visit is an honour. The Trumps very much hoped she would be part of their visit, but nothing was confirmed until this week because of the princess’s health situation.”
