Meghan Markle has posted a “love story” tribute to her husband, Prince Harry, on their seventh wedding anniversary on May 19. On Instagram, Meghan marked the milestone by posting a selection of photographs from new pictures of Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, to secret holiday romances.
Captioning the post, Meghan wrote: “Seven years of marriage. A lifetime of stories. Thanks to all of you (whether by our side, or from afar) who have loved and supported us throughout our love story – we appreciate you. Happy anniversary.”
Prince Harry, 40, and Meghan, 43, wed at St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle on May 19, 2018. The royal wedding was attended by Harry’s late grandmother Queen Elizabeth II, his grandfather, Prince Philip, wider Royal Family members and many celebrities, drawing an estimated 1.9 billion global viewers.

New pictures of Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet
Previously unseen shots of Prince Archie, six, and Princess Lilibet, three, can be noted on the photo montage, including a never-before-seen image of Meghan Markle with her pregnancy bump in sepia tones. Next to the pregnancy image is also a black and white ultrasound image of one of her children.
Playful images of Archie and Lilibet have been posted, including the two playfully embracing as toddlers. Another image shows Prince Harry’s figure on the beach with the two children walking in the sandy waters.
In one snap, Prince Harry is carefully embracing either Lili or Archie as a young newborn, showcasing the couple’s love for their children.
Meghan and Harry are both careful on Instagram to not post front-facing images of their children to respect their privacy, but this montage showcases a few more loving details that fans of the Sussexes will embrace.

Royal coat of arms
For the Royal Wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in 2018, the palace revealed a coat of arms created for the Sussexes – a picture of this has been included on Meghan’s montage.
At the time, Kensington Palace said the duchess worked closely with the College of Arms in London to create the design.
The coat of arms contains a shield containing the colour blue, representing the Pacific Ocean, and rays, symbolising sunshine. The lion supporting the shield on the left is an image that dates back to early medieval times and relates to her husband, the Duke of Sussex. The songbird supporting the shield on the right relates to the Duchess of Sussex.
Under the shield is California’s state flower, which is the golden poppy, and Wintersweet, a flower that grows at Kensington Palace and was also depicted on the duchess’ wedding veil. The three quills on the coat of arms illustrate the power of words and communication.
Lyrics from wedding choir
The lyrics to “Stand by Me,” which was performed at the wedding ceremony are pinned to Meghan’s montage.
The Ascension Choir, which was a group of eight handpicked singers from the Southeast England-based Christian gospel group Kingdom Choir, performed during Harry and Meghan’s historic occasion at Westminster Abbey.
Following their beautiful rendition of Ben E. King’s hit song “Stand By Me” in St George’s Chapel of Windsor Castle, the group went on to perform around the world.
The performance was arranged by celebrity vocal coach Mark De Lisser, who has worked with talent such as Ariana Grande.
Romantic holidays abroad
Snapshots from early holidays and dates abroad are featured in the montage, including Harry and Meghan’s famous trip to Botswana in Africa.
During the summer of 2016, the two spent five days together in a tent in Botswana and it changed the course of their relationship, as stated in the couple’s Netflix documentary. Harry said: “This woman that I’ve only met twice. She’s coming to Botswana and we’re going to be living in a tent for five days.”
In their engagement interview, Harry also shared, “I managed to persuade her to come and join me in Botswana and we camped out with each other under the stars. Then we were really by ourselves, which was crucial to me to make sure that we had a chance to get to know each other.”
There are also images of holidays in Norway, and a 2018 trip to Norfolk in the UK. The montage also moves through their official royal visits to Australia and Morocco and into 2020, capturing life before and after their royal exit.
