James Bogan of Westlake Village walked away with the biggest prize of all: a staggering $50 million SuperLotto Plus jackpot, thanks to a ticket he picked up at Village Spirit Shoppe on Lakeview Canyon Road.
Juan Hernandez Lara of Ontario, another Southern California winner, won $1,165,399 after matching five Powerball numbers with a ticket from Ontario Liquor on East 4th Street.
Dorothy Fonyonga won a $14 million SuperLotto Plus jackpot with a ticket she purchased at Maple Leaf Liquors on Saratoga Avenue in San Jose.
Meanwhile, the winner of the largest Powerball jackpot in US history was spotted cruising around Los Angeles in a vintage VW minibus last month.
Edwin Castro, who won the historic $2.04 billion prize back in 2022, opted for the $998 million lump-sum payout and took home about $628 million after taxes.
