£1.30 household staple prevents winter hair loss and reduces 'frizz and breakage'


A beauty expert has shared a handy tip for keeping your hair healthy during the colder months.

Sam Cinkir, CEO of Este Medical Group, says that apple cider vinegar, which costs as little as £1.30 in supermarkets, can help prevent hair damage and loss caused by the dry winter air.

He explained: “Winter can be a tricky time for our hair as the colder, drier air poses a range of problems.

“Some people suffer from hair loss and damage as a result of the follicles and the scalp losing moisture, causing brittle hair that falls out more easily.”

He added: “It can also create a problem with dandruff, which in turn can become itchy and irritating.
