A WOMAN has been rushed to hospital after being “crushed” by scaffolding outside a H&M in London.

Horrified witnesses claimed the elderly woman, believed to be in her 70s, was hit by falling hoarding as she walked in Hammersmith this morning.

She has been rushed to a major trauma centre but there is no update on her condition.

One witness said: “All of a sudden we just heard this loud bang. Everyone was desperately trying to get the hoarding off her.

“She was just laying on the pavement and looked unconscious.”
