Who is Orange Is The New Black actress Laura Prepon?
The star, 38, who is also an actress, director and author, is perhaps best known for playing Donna Pinciotti in the full eight seasons of funny Fox show That ‘70s Show, but more recently she portrays Alex Vause in Orange Is The New Black on Netflix.
She was born on 7 March 1980 and has appeared in a number of different television shows and films over the years.
Laura has worked mainly in TV, including with popular Netflix series Orange Is The New Black since the beginning, but got her break in the movie business in 2001 when she scored a role in Southlander.

Where was Laura Prepon born and what do we know about her family life?
Laura is of Russian Jewish and Irish Catholic descent and was born in Watchung, New Jersey. She was the youngest of five children.
Her mother, Marjorie Prepon, was a high school teacher, and her father Michael Prepon was an orthopaedic surgeon.
Her dad died during heart surgery in 1993 at the age of 49, when she was 13.
She studied at Watchung Hills Regional High School and later at the Total Theatre Lab in New York.
Laura is married to actor Scott Michael Foster – they dated for several years before she said they have split in 2013 but in June 2018 they married.
They live in New York together with their daughter August 2017, who was born in August 2017.

Laura played the role of Donna Pinciotti in 200 episodes of That ‘70s Show from 1998 until 2006.
She portrayed Hannah Jane Daniels in 19 episodes of October Road between 2007 and 2008 and had the guest role of Karen in three episodes of How I Met Your Mother between 2009 and 2010.
In 2012 she played the main role of Chelsea Newman in Are You There, Chelsea? for 12 episodes.
