When was George and Amal Clooney’s Lake Como wedding?
George, 57, and Amal, 40, got hitched in a picturesque wedding in Lake Como on September 25, 2014, just five-months after George popped the question.
The glitzy affair was attended by swarms of A-listers and received wide media coverage.
The happy couple officially got married in Venice City Hall two days after the ceremony on September 27.
They were married by Clooney’s pal Walter Veltroni, the former Mayor of Rome.

When were their twins born?
In February 2017 there were reports that Amal was expecting their first child.
And George’s celeb mate Matt Damon confirmed the pregnancy on Entertainment Tonight.
Amal gave birth to twins – Ella and Alexander – on June 6, 2017.
A spokesman for the couple said at the time: “This morning Amal and George welcomed Ella and Alexander Clooney into their lives.
“Ella, Alexander and Amal are all healthy, happy and doing fine.”
He then jokingly added: “George is sedated and should recover in a few days.”

How did George meet his wife Amal?
George met Amal after a mutual friend brought her to his home in Lake Como – where they would later marry.
He popped the question with a £600,000 ring after cooking the human-rights lawyer a romantic meal.
He said: “I plotted the whole thing out. I had the ring hidden behind her. I had music playing.
