THE Bridge proved such a big hit that it is back for a fourth series of Scandi crime and drama.

When does The Bridge season four start?
Series four of The Bridge began on Friday, May 11, 2018, on BBC Two at 9pm.
Episode eight airs tonight at 9pm on BBC Two and goes up against EastEnders on BBC One, Lethal Weapon on ITV, a celebrity special of Crystal Maze on Channel 4 and Love Island 2018 on ITV2.
The first three series of the drama were shown on BBC Four.
This final series has a total of eight episodes, a shorter run compared to the previous seasons which each had ten.
All of the episodes from series four will be available to watch online with BBC iPlayer shortly after they are broadcast.

What is The Bridge about?
The Bridge is a crime drama which follows Swedish police detective Saga Noren (Sofia Helin) and her Danish partner Henrik Sabroe (Thure Lindhardt).
The final series is set two years after the end of series three and opens with Saga in prison as she was accused of killing her mother.
Meanwhile the detectives must solve a disturbing new case after a Danish government officer is stoned to death.
Saga will also have a difficult decision to make when she becomes pregnant and Henrik continues to search for his own children.
